When speaking about Anti-aging vegetables, we really mean the cruciferous vegetables. These vegetables are rich in phytochemaicals and thus help to strengthen our immune system and fight against various diseases and viruses. The green leafy vegetables are very good anti-oxidants and they can be very useful to oppose free radicals and the damage caused by them.

Those vegetables rich in vitamin C seem to be the best anti-aging vegetables. Vitamin C serves as a natural healer and it boosts the body’s immune system. Taking vitamin C has been proved to reduce heart diseases, risk of heart attack, some sort of cancers in both men and women. Vegetables rich in vitamin D are also essential for keeping our bones strong. This is especially useful when you get older.

The main damage to our cells is caused by free radicals that are produced in our body during the metabolism process. Thus to fight these free radicals we need some anti-oxidants. The vegetable have this anti-oxidizing property to fight the free radicals. So taking in vegetable allows us to be free the damage caused by these free radicals and aging.
